Oh Brunch. How we adore you. You’re the reason Sundays aren’t Mondays. But with so many options in Long Beach, how is one supposed to choose? We figure since you’re probably sleeping off last night’s shenanegans, you’re not looking to travel too far to find your “hair of the dog.” So we decided to break down the best Long Beach brunch spots by neighborhood. Here goes nothin…


Alamitos Bay – Schooner or Later

EAT: Crab & Avocado Benedict

DRINK: A Bloody Mary while you wait for your table.


Bellflower – The Nest

EAT: Any of their Benedicts, Candied Cayenne Bacon and of course, The Mac & Cheetos

Honorable Mention: Belmont Heights – Starling Diner

EAT: Stuffed French Toast…It’ll change your life

DRINK: Crab Leg Bloody’s


Belmont Shores – Nick’s on 2nd

EAT: Rosendo’s Chilaquiles…and ALWAYS the Buttercake!

DRINK: Cold Pressed Mimosa, or their House Bloody Mary topped with a fried blue cheese olive.


Bluff Heights – Restauration

EAT: Wood Fired Pizza (add an egg) & French Toast
