Tours run daily at 11am.
We’ll meet you inside our first tasting location, 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the tour. You’ll find the tour guide wearing the Beach City teardrop logo. Once everyone has checked in, we’ll begin by presenting you with your signature Beach City Food Tours tote bag. You’ll also be given a comprehensive map of all the locations you’ll be visiting, as well as exclusive coupons, should you want to return to them in the near future.
Over the next 3 hours, we’ll visit 7+ of our partner locations where you’ll experience the best food Downtown Long Beach has to offer. All of our tasting partners have been paid in advance. Along the flat, 1-mile route, we’ll occasionally stop to discuss the Downtown’s history, culture and architecture, dating back to the 1900s.

Yes. Children under 3 years old are free. Tickets for children ages 3-12 are discounted at the ticket purchase section. IDs will be checked at each tour because some samples may contain alcohol.
Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at select food-tasting locations.
The tours are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. We also provide ponchos in case of sudden weather changes or if you do not have your own umbrella. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately.
You should bring with you a camera, comfortable walking shoes and a small bottle of water. When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. During the cooler seasons it’s important to wear and an extra layer of clothing.
Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.
